Healius Peptides is committed to operating to the highest legal and regulatory standards across every market we serve. This Compliance Policy explains, in detail, how we classify our products, the regulatory frameworks we adhere to, our advertising and marketing standards, the indemnities that apply to every order, and the responsibilities that the Customer accepts at checkout. This Policy supplements and forms part of our terms and conditions.
Healius Peptides is a UK-based business with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. The United Kingdom is therefore our primary regulatory jurisdiction. However, because we ship to customers in the United States, the European Union, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, we make every reasonable effort to comply with the rules and regulations of each of those markets, as well as UK law. The sections below explain how.
Every peptide listed on healiuspeptides.com is supplied strictly as a research-use-only (“RUO”) chemical compound. Our products are:
Not medicinal products under the UK Human Medicines Regulations 2012, the EU Directive 2001/83/EC, the US Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the Canadian Food and Drugs Act, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, or the New Zealand Medicines Act 1981.
Not medical devices under the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002, EU Regulation 2017/745, US 21 CFR Part 820, or any equivalent framework.
Not food, food supplements, or food additives under the UK Food Safety Act 1990, EU Regulation 178/2002, the US FFDCA, the Canadian Food and Drugs Act, the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, or any equivalent framework.
Not cosmetics under the UK Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013, EU Regulation 1223/2009, the US FFDCA cosmetic provisions, or any equivalent framework.
Not veterinary products under the UK Veterinary Medicines Regulations, EU Regulation 2019/6, or any equivalent framework.
Healius Peptides products are intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research conducted by qualified researchers, contract research organizations, academic institutions, and laboratory professionals. Products must not be administered to or used by humans or animals under any circumstances. They must not be reformulated, repackaged, or resold to consumers.
As a UK-based business, Healius Peptides operates within the full legal framework of England and Wales and acknowledges the supervisory authority of every relevant UK regulator.
Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)
The MHRA is the executive agency of the Department of Health and Social Care responsible for regulating medicines, medical devices, and blood components in the United Kingdom. Healius Peptides products are not medicinal products within the meaning of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and are not licensed or approved by the MHRA. We do not market our products for any indication, condition, disease, or therapeutic effect, nor do we represent that any product is safe or effective for human or veterinary use. We comply with the MHRA Blue Guide on Advertising and Promotion of Medicines by ensuring that no product listing, blog post, email, social media post, or paid advertisement attributes therapeutic, prophylactic, diagnostic, or restorative properties to any product.
Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD)
The VMD is the UK regulator for veterinary medicines. Healius Peptides products are not veterinary medicines within the meaning of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations and are not authorized for animal administration. We do not advertise our products for veterinary use.
Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and UK REACH
The HSE administers UK REACH, the post-Brexit chemicals regulation framework. As a supplier of chemical research materials, Healius Peptides ensures that the substances we list are notified or registered under UK REACH where required, and that all applicable Safety Data Sheets, hazard classifications, and labels are provided in line with the GB CLP Regulation. We do not remove or obscure hazard statements, signal words, or pictograms.
Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and CAP Code
All UK advertising by Healius Peptides complies with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct and Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code) and the equivalent BCAP Code for broadcast media. We do not make health, medicinal, or therapeutic claims about any product. We do not target advertising to audiences under 18. We do not use misleading scarcity, false price comparisons, or unsubstantiated efficacy claims.
Trading Standards and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations
Healius Peptides complies with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 by ensuring product descriptions, certificates of analysis, lab data, and shipping claims are accurate, evidence-based, and not misleading.

Healius Peptides complies with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) under the supervision of the ICO. See our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
The FDA regulates medicines, medical devices, biologics, food, dietary supplements, and cosmetics in the United States under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). Healius Peptides products are supplied as research-use-only chemical materials and are not approved by the FDA for any human or veterinary indication. We do not represent any product as a drug, dietary supplement, food, food additive, cosmetic, or device. We do not make structure or function claims, disease claims, or any therapeutic claims. Customers are responsible for ensuring that any research conducted with our products complies with all applicable FDA regulations, Good Laboratory Practice, and, where relevant, Institutional Review Board oversight.
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
The DEA regulates controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). Healius Peptides does not stock or sell any substance listed on the DEA controlled substances schedules I through V. Where a peptide is structurally related to a controlled substance, the Customer remains responsible for confirming that the purchase, possession, and use of the peptide are lawful under their state and federal laws.
Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
The FTC enforces federal consumer-protection laws, including prohibitions on unfair or deceptive trade practices and the Endorsement and Testimonial Guides. Healius Peptides advertising is grounded in evidence-based product specifications (HPLC purity, mass spectrometry identity, batch certificate of analysis). We do not publish unsubstantiated efficacy claims, hidden material connections, or fictitious testimonials.
State Boards of Pharmacy and State Controlled Substances Acts
Some US states regulate research chemicals more strictly than federal law. The Customer is responsible for verifying that the purchase, importation, possession, and use of any product is lawful in their state. Where a state regulator notifies Healius Peptides of a non-compliant transaction, we will cooperate fully with the regulator, including order cancellation, customer record review, and, where appropriate, refund processing.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Customers handling Healius Peptides products in a US laboratory environment are responsible for compliance with OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), the OSHA Laboratory Standard (29 CFR 1910.1450), and any applicable state OSHA-equivalent standards.
European Medicines Agency (EMA) and National Competent Authorities
The EMA, together with national competent authorities such as the BfArM (Germany), the AIFA (Italy), and the ANSM (France), supervise the marketing of medicinal products in the EU under Directive 2001/83/EC. Healius Peptides products are not placed on the market as medicinal products and are not authorized by the EMA or any national competent authority. We make no therapeutic claims and do not direct any advertising or product listing to consumers in the EU as if our products were medicines.
European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and EU REACH
EU REACH (Regulation 1907/2006) governs the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemicals. Where a substance is supplied into the EU, Healius Peptides ensures that registration, notification, or relevant exemption is in place via an EU-based importer or representative, and that Safety Data Sheets are provided in line with Annex II of EU REACH. We comply with the CLP Regulation 1272/2008 for classification, labeling, and packaging.
EU Cosmetics, Food, and Medical Devices Regulations
Healius Peptides products are not placed on the market as medical devices under Regulation 2017/745, as cosmetics under Regulation 1223/2009, or as food, novel food, or food supplements under Regulation 178/2002 and Regulation 2015/2283.

Healius Peptides products are supplied to Canadian customers as research-use-only chemical materials and are not Health Canada-approved drugs, natural health products, medical devices, food, or cosmetics. We do not make any therapeutic, structure-function, or health claim that would bring our products within these frameworks.
Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
The CFIA regulates the importation of certain biological materials and animal products. Healius Peptides ensures that any product subject to CFIA controls is shipped with the documentation required for lawful importation.
Competition Bureau
The Competition Bureau enforces the Canadian Competition Act, including provisions on misleading advertising. Healius Peptides advertising directed at Canadian customers is evidence-based and does not include misleading claims, false price comparisons, or fake testimonials.
Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
The TGA regulates therapeutic goods (medicines, medical devices, and biologicals) in Australia under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989. Healius Peptides products are not therapeutic goods within the meaning of the Act, are not entered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), and are not approved by the TGA for any human or veterinary indication. We do not advertise our products as therapeutic goods to Australian consumers.
We acknowledge and observe the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code (TGAC). The TGAC restricts advertising therapeutic goods, prohibits advertising prescription-only medicines to consumers, and prohibits unsubstantiated therapeutic claims. While our products are not therapeutic goods and therefore fall outside the ARTG, Healius Peptides applies TGAC-equivalent restraint by not making any therapeutic claim that could mislead an Australian consumer into treating our products as a therapeutic good. We do not target Australian audiences with advertising that names a specific health condition, suggests a therapeutic benefit, or compares any product to a registered prescription medicine.
Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA)
The APVMA regulates veterinary medicines in Australia. Healius Peptides products are not registered with the APVMA and are not advertised for veterinary use.
Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
The ACCC enforces the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. Product descriptions, lab data, certificates of analysis, and shipping claims directed at Australian customers are accurate and evidence-based.
Medsafe
Medsafe (the New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority) regulates medicines and medical devices under the Medicines Act 1981 and the Medicines Regulations 1984. Healius Peptides products are not medicines within the meaning of the Medicines Act, are not approved by Medsafe, and are not advertised to New Zealand consumers as medicines or medical devices.
Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI)
The MPI regulates the importation of biological materials, food, and animal products. Healius Peptides ensures that any product subject to MPI controls is shipped with the documentation required for lawful importation. Customers remain responsible for any biosecurity declarations, permits, or import approvals applicable to their consignment.
Commerce Commission
The Commerce Commission enforces the New Zealand Fair Trading Act 1986. Healius Peptides advertising directed at New Zealand customers is evidence-based and does not include misleading claims or unsubstantiated representations.
Across every market we serve, Healius Peptides applies the following advertising and marketing standards as a unified policy:
No therapeutic claims. We do not state, suggest, or imply that any product treats, prevents, cures, mitigates, diagnoses, or alleviates any disease, condition, or symptom in humans or animals.
No structure-function claims. We do not state, suggest, or imply that any product affects the structure or function of the human or animal body.
No comparison to prescription medicines. We do not compare any product to any registered prescription medicine, nor do we use brand or generic names of prescription medicines as marketing copy.
No targeting of under-18 audiences. We do not direct advertising to audiences known or reasonably believed to include people under 18, including platform-level age-gated targeting.
Evidence-based product claims only. Purity, identity, batch, sourcing, lab testing, and shipping claims are supported by analytical data, certificates of analysis, batch records, and operational records.
No fake testimonials, fake reviews, or fake endorsements. All reviews displayed on healiuspeptides.com are from verified researchers and are not paid for content. Affiliate marketing relationships are disclosed in line with the FTC Endorsement Guides, the UK CMA guidance, and the ACCC Influencer Guide.
No paid advertising on platforms that prohibit research-chemical advertising. Where a platform (such as Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, or Reddit) prohibits or restricts the advertising of certain compounds, Healius Peptides adheres to those platform policies and does not attempt to circumvent them through cloaking, redirects, or proxy domains.

Healius Peptides’ total aggregate liability for any claim under any theory of law (contract, tort, negligence, equity, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise) shall, in no event, exceed the amount actually paid by the Customer for the product or products giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this Section excludes or limits liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Healius Peptides, its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, investigation, enforcement action, regulatory inquiry, fine, penalty, settlement, judgment, court cost, attorney fee, or other liability arising from:

The Customer warrants that they are not a sanctioned person and that they will not transfer the product to any sanctioned person, country, or entity. Where a shipment is delayed, inspected, seized, denied entry, destroyed, or returned by customs or any regulatory authority due to local restrictions, missing permits, prohibited classifications, non-compliant end-use declarations, or any unlawful purchase, no refund or replacement will be issued. See shipping policy and refund returns.
