Healius Peptides operates at the intersection of laboratory science and research-grade manufacturing. To make sure every claim on this site (from purity data to the educational content in our research hub) meets a high evidentiary bar, we work with a small team of credentialed specialists across clinical medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, and analytical chemistry. Each member has a defined role: medical advisory on the clinical literature around peptide therapeutics, in-house batch quality oversight, and scientific advisory on pharmaceutical chemistry and compounding.

All three contributors author and review the content published on the Healius Peptides Research Hub. Their full credentials, publication histories, and professional licensure are listed below and can be verified through the registries linked on each profile, including but not limited to: medical and pharmacy board certifications, Chartered Chemist status with the Royal Society of Chemistry, ORCID records, and the peer-reviewed publications each expert has authored.

Why our medical team makes Healius trusted

The same evidentiary discipline you’d expect in a peer-reviewed lab, applied to every batch and every byline.

Independent Verification

Every batch verified by a UKAS-accredited third-party laboratory, in addition to in-house HPLC, identity, and content uniformity testing.

Named Reviewers

Every research article carries a named author, a named reviewer, and a last-reviewed date, never an anonymous editor.

Chartered Release

No Healius product reaches inventory without a release signature from our Chartered Chemist, Dr. Stern (RSC).

Peer-Reviewed Sourcing

Citations link directly to journals of record, pharmacopoeia monographs, or regulatory guidance, not marketing copy.

Public Credentials

ORCID, Google Scholar, RSC directory and board-registry links on every profile, verify the team yourself.

Conflict Disclosure

All commercial relationships disclosed in plain language. Two external advisors paid; one salaried; no equity, no incentives tied to volume.

What matters to us

Four commitments that govern how this team, and how Healius Peptides operates day to day.

  • Named accountability. Every article carries a named author, a named reviewer, and a last-reviewed date. Every batch carries a named release signatory.
  • Data over marketing. Purity claims are backed by Certificates of Analysis we publish in full, with chromatograms, mass spec traces, and third-party verification on every order.
  • Research-use-only compliance. Healius supplies research peptides for laboratory use only, never for human or veterinary administration. Our team does not provide medical advice through this website.
  • Equal standard for every order. Same care and oversight on a single-vial order from an independent researcher as on a 1,000-vial standing order from a global CRO.

How our medical team makes Healius a reputable peptide source

Every article published on the Healius Peptides Research Hub is reviewed by at least one named subject-matter expert from the team above before publication. Each post carries an author byline, a reviewer byline, a “last reviewed” date, and a list of cited sources, almost all of which are peer-reviewed publications, pharmacopoeia monographs, or regulatory guidance documents.

How review works

Articles touching on clinical, mechanism-of-action, or therapeutic-context content are reviewed by Dr. Patterson. Pharmaceutical chemistry, compounding, and formulation content is reviewed by Dr. Chen. Analytical-method, quality-control, and stability content is reviewed by Dr. Stern, who also performs the in-house batch testing on every Healius Peptides product.

Corrections & updates

If a published article is found to be inaccurate or out of date, we update the article, log the change in a visible revision history, and re-date the page. Material corrections are flagged at the top of the article. Spotted an issue? Email our editorial team and your note will reach the reviewer named on the article within two business days.

Frequently asked questions

Plain-language answers about who reviews what, where the team is based, and how to verify the credentials listed on this page.

Articles are authored or reviewed by Dr. Michael Patterson, Dr. Abigail Stern, or Dr. Sarah Chen, depending on the topic. Each article carries a named author and a named reviewer, plus the date the article was last reviewed.

The team combines an MD with sports medicine and A4M anti-aging fellowships (Dr. Patterson), a PhD in Analytical Chemistry with Chartered Chemist status from the Royal Society of Chemistry (Dr. Stern), and a PharmD + PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a BCPS board certification (Dr. Chen). Full credentials, licensure states, and ORCID/registry links are listed on each profile above.

No. Healius Peptides supplies research peptides for laboratory and research use only. Our products are not sold or marketed for human consumption. Dr. Patterson and Dr. Chen serve as external advisors who ensure the educational and scientific content on this site accurately reflects current peer-reviewed literature and pharmaceutical practice; they are not involved in product sales and do not provide medical advice through this website.

Dr. Stern is the final release signatory for every batch. No Healius Peptides product reaches inventory until it has passed our in-house identity, purity, and content-uniformity testing, plus the third-party safety panel (endotoxin, heavy metals, microbial limits, residual solvents) commissioned through our UKAS-accredited partner laboratory.

Each profile links to an ORCID record, the relevant medical or pharmacy board registry, and the Royal Society of Chemistry directory where applicable. Peer-reviewed publications are linked directly to the journal of record or to Google Scholar / PubMed.

In clinical practice, peptide therapy is typically prescribed by licensed physicians with specific training in peptide therapeutics, such as physicians who hold an A4M fellowship or a board certification in family, internal, or sports medicine. Dr. Patterson is one such peptide doctor and serves as Medical Advisor to Healius Peptides. Healius Peptides itself supplies research peptides for laboratory use only and does not prescribe peptides to individuals through this website.

Research peptides sold by Healius Peptides are intended for laboratory and research use only, not for human consumption. Within that context, “safety” refers to product quality: identity confirmation, ≥99% HPLC purity, low endotoxin, controlled heavy-metal content, and sterile preparation. Every batch is tested against these criteria by Dr. Stern, our in-house Chartered Chemist, and verified by an independent UKAS-accredited laboratory.

Three things, in order of weight: (1) every batch is released by a named, credentialed Chartered Chemist (Dr. Stern) after in-house identity, purity, and content-uniformity testing, then verified by a UKAS-accredited partner laboratory; (2) every research article on this site is reviewed by a named, board-certified medical or scientific reviewer; and (3) every claim is backed by data we publish (Certificates of Analysis), not by marketing.

The medical team works across three locations. Dr. Abigail Stern, our in-house Research and Formulation Chemist, is based in London, UK. Dr. Michael Patterson, Medical Advisor, practises in Miami, Florida. Dr. Sarah Chen, Scientific Advisor, consults from Austin, Texas. Together, the team covers UK MHRA, EU EMA, and US FDA regulatory frameworks.
